These terms & conditions form the basis of the contract between NTC Bushcraft and the client (this includes the person signing the booking form) and cannot be varied, unless in writing by NTC Bushcraft.

By using this site or booking one of our courses (sessions), workshops or other events, you accept these Terms and Conditions and use the site at your own risk. You accept these terms on behalf of all parties you are booking for and agree to advise them of these terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage that may arise out of use of This site is operated and managed from the United Kingdom. Users of outside of the United Kingdom are responsible for compliance with any additional local laws affecting their region.

Who we are
We are “Andrew Calver” trading as 'NTC Bushcraft' (“we” or “us” or "our") a self-employed bushcraft professional operating sessions independently from multiple sites in Bedfordshire and at customer premises.

The site 
The site is ("the site" or "this site").

Customers, also referred to as "clients" are those who book sessions - via third party websites - facilitated by us, or use this site ("you" or "your").

Third party sites
Third party sites that are used to enable customers to subscribe to emails or book sessions. These sites have their own terms and conditions.

Using this site
Here on this page are the terms and conditions under which you may use this site.

The site may be accessed for temporary periods and this service, or any provided via the website, may be amended or withdraw at any time and without notice. There is no liability on our part if the site is unavailable for any period of time for any reason. The responsibility for having the means to access to our site remains with you. Anybody who accesses this site from your internet connection is your responsibility. It is also your responsibility to advise them of these terms and conditions, and ensure they comply with them.

Intellectual property
All content and imagery on this site is held under our copyright and may not be reproduced in any format without specific written permission.

Site changes
The site changes regularly and we reserve the right to remove the service in order to make updates

Information security offences 
It is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 to knowingly introduce malicious or harmful technology to any site. Any such breach will be reported to law enforcement agencies. No liability for any malicious attack shall lie with us or any associated risk or material being transferred to your equipment.

Any lawful, non-damaging and fair linking to this site from another site or platform account owned by you is allowed. Any insinuation of association or approval that is not agreed in writing with us is not allowed.
Framing of any part of this site without prior written agreement is not allowed.
Links from sites containing offensive, illegal or damaging content is not allowed.
Links from this site are for information or booking purposes. We are not responsible for the content or any loos or damage resulting from the use of third party websites.

Session Bookings
By booking a session you agree to the following:

Bookings must be made by persons aged 18 years or over
Sessions are booked using third party websites
Sessions may not be resold or transferred
Places on sessions are secured upon full payment to third party websites used for booking sessions. For private sessions, bookings are secured upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the full session fee
All under 18's attending a session must have a suitable responsible adult with them for the duration of the session.
A responsible adult may attend to a maximum of 4 under 18's. Additional numbers must be agreed in writing with the provider.
Where a supervising adult is not taking part in activities then there will be no fee.
Children brought to sessions that are under the age specified for attendance on that session will not be able to participate. Parents/guardians who bring children along to these sessions and are not able to participate as a result of this will forfeit all session fees and will not be offered a refund.
All child places, whether free or paid, must have a valid ticket booking
All session information correct at time. We reserve the right to change session information at any time for any reason

Refunds and Cancellation

Cancellation by us 
We reserve the right to refuse any booking without disclosing reason
We reserve the right to cancel sessions for any reason without explanation. In these cases, a session of equal or greater value on another date will be offered. If no other date can be accepted, a full refund will be given

Cancellation by client 
No refunds will be given for cancellation of any session booking by the customer for any reason within 30 days of the session date

Exchanges to other sessions will not be made within two weeks of the session date and subject to and admin fee of £5
We reserve the right to change venues for any reason without explanation. Every effort will be made to ensure alternative venues are within 20 miles of advertised venues.

In the event of a cancellation, we will not be held liable or responsible for any associated costs the participants may have incurred in order to attend the session. these include, but are not limited to, hotel fees, fuel costs, transport/travel fees, car parking, meal reservations, house sitting fees or pet sitting fees
We reserve the right to alter the session content, format, and offering to those advertised for any reason and without explanation.

Medical and Consent
Session participants must complete a medical declaration form prior to commencement of a session and hand this to the session leader prior to commencement of the session.
All child (under 18) participants must complete a consent form signed by the responsible adult and handed to the session leader prior to commencement of the session.
It is the responsibility of the session participants to advise the session leader of any medical conditions, including food allergies, that may be exacerbated or triggered by anything that may be encountered on a session.
All participants must be in a good state of health and general fitness. Sessions take place on various terrains in differing conditions
Participants accept that the natural habitats over which the sessions are run will be uneven, subject to natural hazards and carry risks

The Session
Participants agree that it is their responsibility to arrive on time at the correct meeting place. Sessions will start at the published start time prompt, and the group will begin the walk away from the meeting point from within 5 minutes of the publish start time
We cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage or death incurred as a result of attending a session.
Session participants should behave in a reasonable manner and comply with instructions given by the session leader. If a participant is deemed not to behave appropriately, they will be asked to leave the session and will forfeit all session fees
Session participants may bring their own equipment to use during the sessions but this must be declared to the session leader on arrival for the session.
The session leader may refuse to allow personal equipment to be used during the session without giving an explanation.
The use of personal knives and/or saws and/or axes will require the session leader to be sure the customer is compliant with the session leaders safe operating procedures.
At any time during the session the session leader may demand the customer stop using their own equipment and store it away until the end of the session. The session leader does not need to give a reason for this action.
Customers carrying their own equipment to sessions must be aware of and comply with UK knife laws at all times.
Session participants agree that anything they sample on the session is entirely at their own risk and understand that allergic reactions may occur even with only very small amounts of new foods.
We cannot be held responsible for an incidents or illnesses arising from consuming any new foodstuffs or material by any session participant
You are under no obligation to try and foodstuff or material on a session, and the decision to consume or handle any foodstuff or matter is entirely yours

Customer Conduct
No alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted and clients must not be intoxicated at any time during the session.
Customers are responsible for bringing adequate clothing and equipment to the session as recommended by the session kit list.
No fires are to be lit without the session leaders consent.
Customers are responsible for the safe keeping of equipment issued to them during the session and for its return in good order at the end of the session.

Post Session
Session participants may not return to the venue after the session has finished to practice or for any other reason unless attending another session, or with strict written permission from the landowner/manager as appropriate
We are not responsible for any situations or incidents made by any session participant to pass on knowledge learned from the session
We are not responsible for any situations or incidents made by any session participant trying to apply on knowledge learned from the session.

Insurance and liability 
NTC Bushcraft has public liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000 per incident. A copy of the insurance certificate is available on request.
We recommend customers take out their own personal insurance should they require it.

Other Expenses
The customer is responsible for all charges and taxes other than those specified when booking a session. This includes but is not restricted to; car parks, buses, taxis, accommodation.
For full day courses unless otherwise specified in the booking process the customer must supply their own packed lunch.
The company will provide water (hot and cold), tea, coffee, squash, cups and beakers during every session.

To redeem voucher, email: detailing the date and venue of the session you wish to attend, the number of places you wish to attend, and your voucher code number
Hard copy vouchers will be posted within seven working days of payment. Customers accept they must take this timescale into account when purchasing a voucher
Vouchers must be used within one calendar year of the issue date. The valid until date is detailed on the voucher
Vouchers do not guarantee places on specific sessions.
Vouchers can only be used to book available places on sessions.
No cash alternative is available. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
Refunds to the original purchaser are only available during the 28 days after purchase.
All bookings made via vouchers are subject to the same terms as direct bookings and these are detailed on or the site this address is pointed to
Bookings made by vouchers must be done so in advance. Voucher holders may not turn up on the day and gain access to that session.
Vouchers can only be redeemed against the type of session they have been purchased for
