FAQ's

I have booked this as a present. Can I change the date?

If you book any of NTC sessions you may change the date you attend to another session of the same value given a reasonable notice period.

Where a course cannot run without your attendance then you may not change date.

In most cases you may change dates as late as the final week.

Contact us if in doubt.

Can I book for another person

If you want to book online and have a different person attend then you have some choices;

  • you can add a note to the Eventbrite or explaining you will not be attending and giving the name of the person who will attend.
  • you can send a separate email to bookings@ntcbushcraft.co.ukwith the same information.
  • you can call and explain.
  • you can change the name on the ticket within Eventbrite itself.  You’ll need to run the app and change the booking details yourself. (a little involved, i’d do one of the other options)

All correspondence for the sessions will go to the purchaser and it is up to them to pass on any joining instructions or questionnaires.

Please note…. The purchaser has agreed to the terms and conditions and this applies to all tickets.

What can I bring into the event?

Full day events require you to bring a packed lunch.
No dogs or under 12’s allowed.
If you bring your own bushcraft equipment please declare it on arrival.  Read T’s & C’s for details.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The location is walking distance from Ampthill town centre.
There is ample parking along the roadside outside of the park entrance.  Use this rather than the park car parks please.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

For a standard bushcraft event the minimum age is 12 when accompanied by a responsible adult.  Otherwise the minimum is 18.

For other events including scouts, schools, private groups and 11-16 years events the age restriction her do not apply and you must check the event advertising for any restrictions.

What is HLF Lottery Funding about?

Ampthill Park has obtained funding to encourage the use of the park, its facilities and its woodland.  To encourage people to use the park some events are supported by the lottery fund thus reducing ticket prices.
