We had a great morning with Andy in Ampthill Great Park which formed part of a team build day for Waitrose Ampthill. The activities that Andy put together for us were fun, informative and challenging and at the end of the day there was a real sense of achievement from what we had learnt and achieved. just had a wonderful morning taking good part in session 1 bushcraft skills and I have learned so much and I enjoyed every minute I thought 4 hours wouldn't be enough but Andy is so right that learning in bitesize sessions is the perfect way there was a lot to take in and doing it his way gives you time to digest and take on board all the information. we put up tarps for shelter learned great knots to use in and around the camp and fire starting which was great and very successful given the damp conditions. I am still buzzing from the days activities and highly recommend Andy as a great and patient teacher (the knots were quite challenging and I promise I will practice at home). The weather was great and I can't wait to do session 2

I spent the day with Andy completing sessions 1 and 2 of the NTC bushcraft course. Andy is a great teacher. We spent the day working with knives/saws/axes, learning various knots, some basic navigation, various ways on making fire and setting up a tarp shelter. I enjoyed the day and fully recommend the course to anyone interested.read more

I spent Tuesday morning with Andy updating my fire lighting skills. We went through some basics as a refresher and then moved onto the Bow Drill which I just about mastered. We also went through some other useful techniques and he even threw in some new knots for me to try out. Great session to update my skill base. Highly recommend for CPD and skills updatesread more
